Wordless Wednesday Container Gardening Pictures - Flowering Dogwood

Lovely photo, as always, Kerry. Our dogwoods in Texas are white. I love the pink color in your picture, but our white ones float ethereally against the background of our dark pine forests. They are one of my favorite sights of spring.

I would never have thought of putting a dogwood in a pot…But then, weren’t orangeries just big areas for potted trees?

Beautiful Kerry. Are they in containers. Makes me feel a little better seeing your pictures becasue when we visit the Giant Sequoias in the summer these colors of the Dogwood makes it look as though the whole forest is drying up and dying. I never realized that is was just blooming what a HUGE relief!

Dogwoods are indeed very beautiful, and as the years go by, I’m getting more and more jealous of the one next door.
