If Dr. Seuss and Martha Graham got together and designed a plant, it might look like King Tut grass. Also known as Egyptian Papyrus, this plant combines drama, grace and humor.
No shrinking violet, King Tut is a fast grower and can reach heights of 42” to 72” tall. It is annual except in zones 10-11.
This plant makes a spectacular statement in a simple container on its own, or can be combined with a bright ground cover like creeping jenny, coleus, or both.Either full sun or part shade, King Tut loves to be wet, so plug up any drainage holes in your container. Keep well watered and your King Tut should thrive and amuse you all summer long.
