Some of my favorite container gardens are very small. I love to make find small objects and turn them into container gardens to use as table decorations. Clamshells, juiceboxes and baby shoes, all are fair game.

Egg shells make great spring decorations. You can use them on tables for Easter and Passover and they make fantastic place markers. If you are going to grow wheatgrass in them, it takes about a week or ten days for them to reach their peak.

Kids love making these too. They can draw faces or decorations with Sharpies.

I saw something similar at the party store for about $3 each. I’m sure you can make your own much cheaper. Very cute!
