Foiling Critters

The tomato hornworms have been somewhat controlled and now some other critter is eating my tomatoes. I'm guessing it's a chipmunk or a squirrel and of course they are nibbling just a little of each tomato--choosing the most beautiful and scrumptious looking.
Last spring I was sent a very cool looking plant cover by Frost Protek. They are designed to protect container gardens from frost and also from pests. Though the bag is huge, it still isn't big enough to cover my towering tomato plants (I think they are about 9 feet high now) so I corralled some of my biggest tomatoes that are hanging down and looked the most vulnerable.
I love the design of this cover. It has a very easy to use drawstring that I pulled as tight as I could around my tomatoes
I'll let you know how they do!
