Morning glories are an every year plant for me. It doesn't feel like summer unless I am growing a ridiculous number pots filled with Grandpa Otts, Heavenly Blue and Pearly Gates. This summer I grew them in a "Bean Tower" from Gardeners Supply, which is a fabric pot with a built in string trellis. It was a huge success.
I also tried something new, which is saving the morning glory seeds. I can't believe that I've never done it before. It's easy and enormously satisfying. I'm also going to package them up and give as holiday gifts.
