Red Fox on Picnic Table

Happy new year! Right before Christmas, we saw this fine fox jumping around the yard, right outside our window. First he went over to a Smart Pot that has frozen solid. He jumped on top of it, then sat, then tried to bite through it. Speaks to the durability of the material, that he couldn't sink his big chompers into it.
After getting bored with the container, he leaped up onto the picnic table. Turning around several times before lying down, he wrapped his tail around himself, like a stole and soaked in the sun.
My guess is that he/she is a descendant, or one of the pups in the photos I took two years ago.
P.S. Ok, how great is it that I can legitimately talk about red foxes and container gardening in the same post?
