Ok, so first my Meyer lemon tree was suicidal. Now it looks like it may be murdered. Once again, I have an infestation of spider mites. I cannot express how loathsome these creatures are. They attack plants, weaving deadly webs (well the webs are exactly deadly, but the little sucking beasts are), and slowly killing my plants.
I had an infestation last winter and thought several of my plants were dead by the end of the season. Despite a grim looking prognosis, I severely cut back the plants and put them outside to recuperate. Voila! They all bounced back and with some treatment (I used Nutri-Cal), they were thriving and gorgeous by the end of the summer.
Now the dastardly mites have returned with a total vengeance.
