Even though my jasmine hasn't bloomed since I bought it several years ago, I was very attached to it. It was a beautiful foliage plant (though I admit that I kept holding out hope that it would produce the creamy, white, incredibly fragrant blossoms that I was seduced by). And then my husband killed it. It was kind of hiding in the jungle that is now our front hall, but still...
I am trying to be understanding and copasetic about the demise of my plant, but I have to admit, I'm having trouble being zen about the whole thing.
The good news is that I just found a jasmine plant, on the verge of blooming at Trader Joe's for $8. I splurged, ignoring my New Year's resolution not to buy any more plants until spring.
