The poll results are in and most of you are going to be starting lots of seeds. I am too. I don't know how I'm going to wait until it's actually time to start. For me, in zone 5, I still have a long way to go before I can prudently plant seeds (ok, prudence isn't my strong suit, but this year I'm determined to wait).
Starting seeds is one of my favorite things in container gardening. I love the magic of it - that just by adding water, something green and new and exquisite can emerge from a tiny, dry and lifeless looking seed.
However, starting seeds inside can be a dicey business and success can be elusive. It's really easy to mess it up - which, trust me, I've done innumerable times in a multitude of ways. To share a few of the few hundred mistakes I've made, I've written an article, 11 Common Mistakes to Avoid When Starting Seeds Indoors.
