Container Garden Design Tips for Wishbone Flower:
Good for window boxes, hanging baskets or large container gardens, torenia, or wishbone flower will bloom profusely throughout the growing season. It's an easy-going plant and can put up with a lot of heat and humidity.
Wishbone flower can stand alone or can be combined with any number of other plants. Try it with oxalis, a "supertunia" or sutera for a mounding show. If you like something dramatic, use sedge or a rex begonia in the center of your pot.
Make sure your container has good drainage, but try to keep soil moist. Feed your wishbone flower with a diluted fertilizer like fish emulsion every couple of weeks.
Try Summer Wave® Large Violet, or any of the other Summer Wave® colors.
