Spray your soil until moist and make sure to keep it nice and moist, though not wet. You should see some shoots in a couple of days, and some real greenery after 3 or 4 days.

It is better to use a plastic egg carton, but if you use a cardboard egg carton for your egg shell container gardens, pick them up each day because roots will start to emerge and stick to the cardboard. If your eggs start to stick to the cardboard, you can usually peel it off.
