Two years after the red fox pictures in the snow were taken, this mother fox showed up, in the exact same spot (right next to my container gardens, I might add), with four rambunctious and adorable kits.
I was lucky enough to see them and have my camera nearby. They played for about a half hour, wrestling, nuzzling, climbing and using pine cones as toys.
I think their den is right near where I saw them.
