Womanswork Paisley Gardening Hat

Womanswork Paisley Floppy Sun Hat has both style and substance.

I love gardening hats and while I respect and admire a good set of hard-won wrinkles, I do what I can to keep mine to a minimum. For me that means wearing a hat whenever I'm gardening.

I was delighted to discover Womanswork hats. They are designed for style and substance, and do a great job of keeping you cool and shaded when it's hot out. I am a huge fan of several of their hats, which are incredibly comfortable and well made.

The Paisley Floppy Sun Hat is one of my favorites. When I tried it on I was impressed with its style and comfort, and over time I've also been impressed that even after I've gotten my grubby gardening hands on it, it still looks great. It has kept it's shape admirably and the paisley pattern can hide a multitude of gardening smudges.

I have had a number of friends try this hat on and it looked good, framing a wide variety of faces, and fit it almost everyone.

I love that it is cotton with a little lycra, so it has some give and fits snugly without being tight.

I garden in a very windy spot, so I always like the option of an adjustable chin strap on gardening hats, but even without the strap, this hat does a pretty good job of staying on my head.

There are also several accessories with the same paisley pattern, including a half apron, a gardening bag and gauntlet gloves (pictured above). Any one of these would make a great gift. If you wanted to go really wild, a great gift idea would be to put a hat, a pair of gloves and a half apron in the gardening bag along with some tools. This is a gift that would make any gardener happy.
