Guide Review - L.L. Bean Garden Tote For Container Gardening
I have several of these totes and use them all the time when I'm making container gardens. They are great for mixing soil and hauling heavy loads and are incredibly durable. Even after a few years hard use, they look brand new. The handles are particularly comfortable. I’ve had other buckets that are the same size, but are much harder to carry because the handles are uncomfortable. The flexibility of the tote also makes it easier to haul big, cumbersome loads.
Incredibly durable, I have left my tote out in the snow and it hasn’t cracked or split. It’s made of UV-resistant polyethylene that even full sun doesn’t seem to dull. According to the lable, the tote is resistant to boiling water, but I can’t say that I’ve ever tried it (and can’t really imagine why anyone would want to).
I love all the colors, though the red is my favorite. I may even have to punch a few holes in one and turn it into a container garden!
