Cranberry Orange Relish

This is one of my favorite easy recipes. I love eating it with yogurt and putting it on roast chicken, turkey or pork. It keeps for a few weeks in the refrigerator. It tastes fresh and you can make it as tart or sweet as you like. It tastes great as soon as you make it, but if you let it sit in the refrigerator for at least an hour, the tastes meld together as the sugar melts.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • For Raw Cranberry Orange Relish
  • 1 Bag cranberries
  • 1 Orange, cut in quarters, skin on
  • Sugar

Preparation:

For Raw Cranberry Orange Relish Wash cranberries and pick out any icky ones. Put into food processor with orange and pulse until pieces are small. Remove and mix in sugar to taste (can vary widely--start with 2 tablespoons of sugar) Leave for several hours or overnight so sugar can dissolve. Stir and serve. More Recipes:
