Container I Planted
This is my little Beatles aloe pot.
I wanted to do a cute little pot that could sit on my counter top. In the summer, we pick on our aloe plant a lot when someone with fair skin gets a sunburn.
This one has just a little bit of plant life and lots of decoration. I used a set of Beatles guitar picks that were given to my husband and I on our wedding day, and a bunch of flat rocks and crystals.
Plants I Used (If you know)
A friend gave me a large aloe plant that sprouted off a lot of little sprigs. The new shoots needed a new home, so I started brainstorming my newest container. I think that I could add a couple small hens & chicks to this one eventually.
Advice
- Flat rocks like agate and natural glass can be laid on top of the soil and add a lot to the container. They will be easy to move around as the aloe gets larger.
- I used guitar picks, but other momentos can be put in there like a cute keychain characters.
